Refund Policy for The Publishing Prep Academy ($950)

The Publishing Prep Academy is a comprehensive seven-week course designed to guide you through the writing and publishing process. Because of the high value and live nature of this program, refunds are subject to the following conditions:

Refund Window

  • Refunds are available within 7 days of the course start date. After this period, no refunds will be granted.

Eligibility for Refunds

To qualify for a refund, the following conditions must be met:

  1. Limited Live Session Attendance:
    You have attended no more than one live session.

  2. Limited Replay Access:
    You have accessed no more than one video replay.

  3. Workbook Access:
    Refunds will not be granted if you have downloaded or accessed the workbook, The Publishing Prep Author’s Bible.

  4. Facebook Community Engagement:
    Refunds will not be granted if you have engaged in the private Facebook group by posting, commenting, or downloading any group resources.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email info@publishingprep.com with the subject line Refund Request – with the name of the course. Include the following details:

  • Your full name.

  • The email address used for registration.

  • The reason for your refund request

Refund requests will be reviewed within 5 business days, and eligible refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

Non-Refundable Items

  • The workbook, valued at $47, is non-refundable once accessed or downloaded.

  • Payments made as part of a payment plan are non-refundable, and future payments may still be required if the course terms are not met.

Exceptions

Refunds will not be granted for:

·   Accessing Replays:
Refunds will not be granted if you have accessed 1 or more video replays.

·   Participation in the Facebook Community:
If you engage in the private Facebook group (e.g., posting, commenting, or downloading resources), you will not be eligible for a refund.

·   Workbook Access:
If the included workbook, The Publishing Prep Author’s Bible, is a non-refundable component of the course. Once you have downloaded or accessed the workbook, its value will be deducted from any potential refund.

·   Live Session Attendance:
Participation in more than one live sessions will make you ineligible for a refund.

·   No-Shows or Non-Engagement:
Refunds will not be granted for failure to attend live sessions, access replays, or engage with course materials due to personal scheduling conflicts or lack of participation. After 7 days, no refunds will be made available.

·   Partial Payments:
If you enrolled via a payment plan, refunds will not be issued for payments already made. You may still be responsible for completing future installments, depending on the situation.

·   Time-Limited Refund Window:
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the course start date, regardless of how much content has been accessed. After this period, no refunds will be considered.

Refund Policy for the Two-Session Course ($300)

The two-session Publishing Prep course is a fast-paced, intensive program. Due to its shorter duration and lower price point, refunds are subject to stricter conditions:

  • Refunds are available within 1 day of the course start date. After this period, no refunds will be granted.

Eligibility for Refunds

To qualify for a refund:

  1. Live Session Attendance:
    You have not attended any live sessions.

  2. Replay Access:
    You have not accessed any video replays.

  • This course does not include access to the private Facebook community or a free workbook. Therefore, these elements do not factor into refund requests.

General Refund Policy Notes

  1. Course Transfers:
    Refunds will not be granted for transferring to a future session of the same course. Transfers may be permitted on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.

  2. Payment Plans:
    Payments made as part of a payment plan are non-refundable. Future payments may still be required depending on the terms of the agreement.

  3. Refund Processing:
    Refunds are issued to the original payment method only. Processing times may vary based on your financial institution.
